De:MIS (De:light Minimal Incision Scar system) is De:light's approach to closing liposuction incisions with internal absorbable sutures instead of conventional external nylon stitches.
Conventional closure leaves stitches on the skin surface that must be removed after about a week and can leave small “ladder” marks. With De:MIS, the incision is closed beneath the skin with sutures that dissolve on their own, so there is no stitch removal visit and the incision line can heal more cleanly.
